After almost a year of planning, the West Kent Motoring Lodge  launched on the 20th February 2020.

The ethos of this themed lodge is to bring together like minded people and to have fun through a shared passion for Freemasonry and Motoring.

Our aim is to introduce new people to Masonry through a love of all things Motoring and to include family and friends in our activities through a wide range of social events.

By holding our meetings on Saturday mornings we will create opportunities for non-masons to join us over breakfast. Our work in the temple will then be streamlined so that we are finished by late morning ready for a Motoring related event in the afternoon – family and friends will again be welcome to join in on these events.

In addition to the four regular meetings each year, we are arranging club-style meets at various locations and in different formats through the year.

You don't need to own a vintage, classic, custom or performance car, bike, scooter, you only need an interest in masonry and motoring!

The West Kent 2026 Festival is first, and foremost, about trying to support the needs of the most vulnerable in our communities. This is what Freemasons do so well. However, the future of freemasonry in general, and, more specifically, the ability of the Province of West Kent to deliver a successful festival – is, put simply, about the strength and activity of our membership going forward.

We are proud to take up that challenge – and will not be found wanting.
